Hidden Expedition Everest is a downloaded game brought to you by Big Fish Games. Explore the world as you hunt down materials for your ascent of the worlds biggest mountain.

Enter into the competition to climb Everest and see if you can beat the other teams vying for the prize. Starting your journey at the base of the mountain you will then begin to travel all over the world looking for items to help you climb. All the while the other teams are doing the same thing.
All of the other 3 teams will be competing against you, and as you play through different locations you will be able to see their progress compared to yours. If you finish each area first you will stay in first place.
Each place you go to will have several scenes or games for you to play. From South America to Europe there are some beautiful locations for you to explore. The hidden object scenes themselves are highly detailed, with a huge variety of items for you to find. While there is no timer for the scenes you will still need to be ahead of the other teams.
In each scene there will be a list of items to find, and there are also gemstones hidden in the scenes. If you find 5 gemstones you will be able to earn an extra hint. You begin with 3 hints per location not per scene, so use them wisely. There is a limited number of gems, if you leave a scene you can return to it, and you will see how many more gems you have to find.
As you finish each location you will find another piece of equipment or map section that will lead you on to the next step. Once you have all the pieces you can then begin your climb of the mountain.
As you travel you will meet several interesting characters, and be able to explore some beautiful locations. Taking some of the worlds most amazing historical sites and wonderful locations as the theme many of the scenes are places you can visit.
You can leave the scene at any point in time and the other teams will also pause for a break, when you come back to a scene you pick up from where you left off, with the same items to find and the same number of hints available. Unfortunately, if you are struggling to find an item you will need to wait for one of the other teams to finish the scene you can’t skip it or move on ahead.
Although Hidden Expedition Everest is not free there is a 1 hour trial that you can play through to try the game, if you like it you can then purchase the game. Once you do there are no further payments and its yours to enjoy for as long as you want.
There are some amazing locations and scenes to play through, the items are fun to look for and the lists are clearly presented. The addition of gemstones for extra hints is a nice touch, and adds that little more to the game. Some of the scenes are not quite as well presented as others, so the game can feel a little inconsistent.
Challenging other teams is a really engaging idea and adds a sense of urgency, without rushing you into panicking. There are lots of places to visit and the mini games that break up the scenes are a nice addition, though some of them can be quite a challenge.
